Organisations from across the globe have made it through to the final stage of Brake, the road safety charity’s Fleet Safety Awards 2015.
Brake has received a record number of award entries for the 2015 awards and now more than 60 organisations are in with a chance of winning one of 14 prestigious awards.
FireDog Managing Director, Dr Ross Moloney, has been invited to take part as a member of the judging panel at the annual event that recognises the achievements of fleet operators and suppliers who are working hard to reduce road crashes involving at-work drivers.
This year’s finalists include well-known names such as Johnson & Johnson, Royal Mail and Aldi, as well as smaller local organisations including Gateshead Council, O’Donovan Waste Disposal and Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Thursday 1 October 2015, at the St John’s Hotel, Solihull, Birmingham.
Tickets are on sale for just £150 per person. Full details are available at www.fleetsafetyawards.com.
Ellie Pearson, senior professional engagement officer at Brake, says: “We have been thoroughly impressed with this year’s entries, with many companies entering our awards for the first time. It is fantastic that so many companies are making a real effort to end the needless crashes on our roads as a result of at-work drivers. Our judges are going to have a tough time choosing the winners and we wish all our finalists the best of luck and look forward to seeing them all at our awards dinner.”
Dr Ross Moloney, Managing Director at FireDog, says: “It’s great to be invited by Brake and to involved in such an amazing event once again. From the shortlist of entries, it looks like my task as judge this year is going to be a challenging one. Best of luck to all the entrants”.
